Regional Interstate Impacts: § UPDATED!! Daily through Friday, August 31, crews on behalf of ODOT will continue routine inspection of the existing I-90 Innerbelt Bridge. Crews work during off-peak hours, with a single lane closure in the east or westbound direction.
§ CANCELED!! Overnight Tuesday, September 4, I-90 west will be closed between I-77 and I-490 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
§ UPDATED!! Overnight Wednesday & Thursday, September 5 and 6, I-90 west will be closed between I-77 and I-490 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. each morning. Motorists should “Opt for the Alternate” and use I-77 south and I-490 west to I-90 west. This work is weather dependent.
§ CANCELED!! Overnight Thursday, September 6, the right shoulder of I-90 west will be closed near the Prospect Avenue exit from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
§ NEW!! On Friday, September 7, the left lane of I-90 west/I-71 south will be closed between the W 14th Street exit and the Starkweather overpass from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Downtown/Gateway District Impacts:
§ Overnight Wednesday, September 5, the outbound lanes of Ontario will have lane restrictions and a closure beginning at 8 p.m. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., with a full closure of the outbound lanes between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
§ CANCELED!! On Thursday, September 6, crews will be paving inside the existing work zones at the Carnegie/Ontario intersection. Motorist should expect delays and minor lane restrictions on outbound Ontario from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
§ CANCELED!! Overnight Thursday, September 6, Carnegie Avenue will be closed between Ontario and E 9th from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists traveling through the Carnegie/Ontario intersection will likely experience delays as well.
Tremont Impacts:
§ Fairfield Avenue is closed under I-90 through 5 p.m. on Friday, August 31. The roadway will reopen for the Labor Day weekend, but will close again on Tuesday, September 4 at 6 a.m. and will remain closed until Friday, September 7 at 5 p.m.
§ CANCELED!! On Friday, September 7, crews will be asphalt paving portions of W 13th Place between Abbey and University (adjacent to Sokolowski’s University Inn) from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
