CUYAHOGA COUNTY (Friday, April 25, 2014) – In addition to permanent work zones, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga and Lake counties:
Weekend Long Work:
- On Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, crews working on the I-77 bridge deck replacement project will complete the first – of many – bridge deck pours. In order to complete this work safely, crews will close the I-77 southbound exit ramp to I-480 eastbound and the right lane of I-77 southbound between Grant Avenue and I-480 beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until noon on Saturday. Motorists leaving downtown Cleveland on I-77 southbound destined for I-480 eastbound will be detoured via I-490 westbound to SR 176 southbound to I-480 eastbound. Other motorists will be detoured via Rockside Road to I-77 northbound to I-480 eastbound.
- Friday, April 25th at 7 p.m. crews will close the right two lanes on the I-480 eastbound Valley View Bridge until 6 a.m. Monday, April 28 in order to perform bridge maintenance operations.
Saturday, April 26:
- On Saturday, April 26th at 7 p.m., Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance crews in Lake County will close SR 84 at Shepard Road until 9 p.m. Sunday, April 27 for culvert replacement operations. Motorists will be detoured via SR 86, U.S. 20, and SR 528. More information here.
