GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, April 29, 2016) – During the coming weekend, please be alert for the following work in the northeast Ohio region:
I-90 Innerbelt, Construction of Two New George V. Voinovich Bridges, Cleveland
On Saturday, April 30 the #GVVBridge will be closed inbound between I-490 and I-77 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists who use I-90 east or I-71 north toward Downtown should “Opt for the Alternate!” and use I-490 east to I-77 north where access to all Downtown exits and I-90 east is maintained. The outbound lanes will NOT be impacted.
U.S. 6/State Route 2 (West Shoreway) Conversion, Lakefront West, Cleveland
On Saturday, April 30 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. all outbound West Shoreway traffic will be detoured onto to Lake Avenue as crews remove sheet piling near the Lake Avenue intersection.
The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects have updated or new work involving lane and/or ramp closures beginning the week of May 1:
*NEW*State Route 82 (Royalton Road) and I-71 Interchange Improvements, Strongsville, Cuyahoga County
*UPDATED*Eddy Road Bridge over I-90, Bratenahl & Cleveland, Cuyahoga County
*UPDATED*East 105th Street Widening, Opportunity Corridor Section 1, Cleveland
*UPDATED*Pershing Avenue Bridge Replacement over I-77, Cleveland
