GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, August 31, 2017) – Due to the Labor Day
Holiday, work on many construction projects will be suspended this
weekend. Permanent work zone restrictions will remain in
place. Minimal impacts to traffic are expected during the holiday
The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects have work involving ramp and/or lane closures tonight and this weekend:
Widening, Bedford, Bedford Heights, Warrensville Heights and Oakwood… Overnight Thursday, August 31, crews will close the left contraflow
lane on I-271 northbound starting at Forbes Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. in
order to perform paving work.
Resurfacing Beachwood, Lyndhurst and Mayfield Heights
Overnight Thursday, August 31, crews will close various lanes on I-271
north and/or south between Fairmount Blvd. and Wilson Mills Road from 8 p.m. to
6 a.m. in order to perform final striping operations.
These ODOT construction projects have updated work involving lane and/or ramp closures that are new or begin the week of Thursday, August 31:

Avenue Drainage Repairs, Cleveland
