GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, July 9, 2015) – The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects have updated work involving lane and/or ramp closures for the upcoming weekend:
Weekend Long Work:
· Weather permitting on Friday, July 10, crews will close one lane on U.S. 422 westbound between SR 306 and Solon Road from 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, July 13 in order to perform paving operations. Also on Friday, crews will close one lane on U.S. 422 eastbound between Solon Road and SR 306 from 6 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 13.
· Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday July 10, ALL ramps at the I-90 east/I-71 south/SR 176 south interchange will be closed. All motorists must use I-490 east. I-90 motorists should Opt for the Alternate! and use I-490 east to I-77 north to access I-90 east. Those bound for I-71 or SR 176 south should use I-490 east to Broadway Avenue where they may reenter I-490 in the westbound direction and continue on to I-71 or SR 176 south. The ramp to I-90 east will reopen no later than 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 11. The I-71/SR 176 south ramp will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, July 13. Upon reopening be alert for new traffic patterns!
· On Friday, July 10, crews will close one lane on SR 237 north and southbound between Eastland Road and SR 17 from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. Monday, July 13 in order to perform pavement repair operations. Also during this work, crews will maintain traffic on airport entrance and exit ramps at half-width for pavement repair operations.

Vrooman Road over I-90, LeRoy Township
State Route 2 Noise Barrier Installation, Mentor
U.S. Route 422 Minor Rehabilitation, Bainbridge Township & Solon
