GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, June 30, 2016) – Due to the July 4th Holiday, work on many construction projects will be suspended this weekend. Permanent work zone restrictions will remain in place. Minimal impacts to traffic are expected during the holiday weekend.
Overnight Thursday, June 30, crews will close the I-71 northbound exit to the Ohio Turnpike and the Ohio Turnpike exit to I-71 northbound from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform paving operations. Detours will be posted.
The following ODOT construction projects have updated work involving lane and/or ramp closures beginning the week of July 5:
*NEW*I-71 Culvert Repairs, Strongsville
Eddy Road Bridge over I-90, Bratenahl, Cleveland
Pedestrian Bridge over I-90, just west of East 185th Street, Cleveland
*NEW*I-90 Resurfacing, Wickliffe and Willoughby Hills
U.S. 322 Resurfacing and Culvert Replacement, Chester Township
*NEW*State Route 608 (Old State Road) Resurfacing, Hambden Township
*NEW*Guardrail Repairs, Various Locations
