CUYAHOGA COUNTY (Friday, March 14, 2014) – On Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. crews will close all lanes of I-77 north and southbound between I-480 and SR 21 until 6 a.m. Monday, March 17 in order to implement the phase one traffic configuration. Motorists will be detoured via SR 176 and I-490. All traffic leaving downtown Cleveland via I-77 southbound will be detoured via I-490 westbound to SR 176 southbound. Also during this weekend closure, crews will implement two ramp closures as part of phase one. On Friday at 7 p.m., the I-77 southbound ramp to I-480 westbound and the I-480 eastbound ramp to I-77 northbound will close until early-November 2014. I-77 southbound motorists will be detoured via I-490 westbound to SR 176 southbound to I-480 westbound. I-480 eastbound motorists will be detoured via SR 176 northbound to I-490 eastbound to I-77. On Friday, March 14 , crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), will close SR 87/Buckeye Road at Woodhill Road from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. Monday, March 17 for water main replacement work. All through-traffic will be detoured via East 166th Street/Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Woodland Avenue. For more information click here.
