GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, March 19, 2015) – The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects have updated work involving lane and/or ramp closures for the upcoming weekend:
Saturday, March 21 & Sunday, March 22:
· On Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, crews will close the right lane of I-77 northbound between I-480 and Brecksville Road (SR 21) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to begin concrete removal operations. All I-77 northbound motorists will need to use the contraflow lane. The ramp from I-480 westbound to I-77 northbound will be maintained.
Saturday, March 21:
· On Saturday, March 21, crews will close one lane on I-90 eastbound at West 25th Street 4 p.m. and a second lane at 7 p.m. in order to perform a traffic shift and place portable concrete barrier wall. Both lanes will remain closed until noon on Sunday, March 22. Upon reopening on Sunday, traffic on I-90 eastbound at West 25th Street will be shifted toward the right as preliminary work takes place on I-90 eastbound to make safety improvements in the area. Sunday, March 22:
· On Sunday, March 22, crews on behalf of Taylor Communications will perform intermittent complete closures of I-77 north and southbound at Fleet Avenue from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Crews will close the road for approximately 10 minutes once every half hour in order to install a cable over the roadway.
