May 25, 2017) – Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, work on many construction
projects will be suspended this weekend. Permanent work zone restrictions will remain in place. Minimal
impacts to traffic are expected during the holiday weekend.
following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects are
new and will begin work during the week of May 28st:
Resurfacing, Bratenahl and Cleveland
Tuesday, May 30
through Friday, June 2, crews will close the left lane on I-90 eastbound
between East 55th Street and East 142nd Street from 7:30
p.m. to 3 p.m.
the next day in order to perform on the sewer inlets. In late-June, following
the completion of the sewer inlet work, crews will begin resurfacing operations
on I-90 east and westbound between East 55th Street and Lakeshore
Blvd. Tentative completion date: October 2017.
The Elm Street bridge over SR 2 (Lakeland Freeway) will temporarily close beginning June 1 for a bridge deck replacement. The closure will last approximately 150 days, during which motorists will be detoured via Argonne Dr., North State Street and Williams Street. Tentative completion date: October 2017
On Tuesday, May 30 ODOT crews will close
SR 88 (Mc Call Rd.) between Nelson Parkman Rd. and Grove Rd. in Parkman
Township to replace four culverts south of U.S. 422 (Main Market Rd.) This
closure is expected to last approximately two weeks. Motorists will be detoured
via Main Market Rd., SR 700 and SR 305.
