GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, November 14, 2013) – Overnight Sunday, November 17, construction crews will close various lanes on I-271 northbound near Rockside Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform striping operations.
In addition to permanent work zones, Ohio Deprtment of Transportation (ODOT) maintenance crews have the following work scheduled to take place in Cuyahoga & Geauga Counties:
Saturday, November 16:
- Crews in Geauga County will close SR 700 just south of Patch Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in order to replace a culvert. Motorists will be detoured will be SR 168, SR 528 and U.S. 422. For more information click here.
- Crews will close the SR 176 northbound ramp to I-90 westbound on Saturday, November 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in order to perform vegetation control and removal operations. Motorists will be detoured via I-490 eastbound to Broadway Avenue to I-490 westbound to I-90 westbound.
- Crews will close the SR 82 eastbound entrance ramp to I-77 northbound and the Rockside Road eastbound entrance ramp to I-77 northbound on Saturday, November 16 at separate times from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in order to perform pavement repair operations. Crews will first close the SR 82 eastbound entrance ramp, reopen it and then close the Rockside Road eastbound entrance ramp. Each ramp is expected to be closed for approximately three hours.
