GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, October 10, 2013) – On Tuesday, October 15, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation will close Shaker Boulevard east and westbound between East 103rd Street and Woodhill Road until early 2014 for bridge replacement operations. Shaker Boulevard westbound will be closed to through-traffic between East 103rd Street and Woodhill Road. Access will be maintained to the East End Neighborhood House and Morning Star Baptist Church. Motorists will be detoured via Buckeye Road and East 103rd Street. Also Tuesday, October 15, crews will close the left lane on Woodhill Road southbound and the right lane on Woodhill Road northbound between Holton Avenue and Wamelink Avenue until early 2014 for bridge replacement operations. No left turns will be permitted on to Buckeye Road. Northbound Woodhill Road motorists will be detoured via Steinway Road. Southbound Woodhill Road motorists will be detoured via Rosehill Avenue and East 103rd Street.
In addition to permanent work zones, the following work is scheduled to take place in Cuyahoga County and Lake County:
Friday, October 11:
- On Friday, October 11, crews will partially close the I-480 east and westbound exit ramps to Miles Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in order to perform pavement repairs
Weekend Long Work:
- Overnight Friday, October 11, crews will close the SR 615 entrance ramp to I-90 eastbound and the I-90 westbound exit ramp to SR 615 at 9 p.m. until Sunday, October 13, at 6 a.m. in order to perform pavement repairs.
