(Thursday, October 26, 2017) –
The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)
projects have work involving ramp
and/or lane closures tonight and this weekend:
Pavement repairs Rockside Road entrance to I-77 north, Independence
Rockside Rd. entrance ramp to I-77 northbound will close on Friday, October 20 at 8 p.m. through Monday, October 23 at 6 a.m.
Motorists will be detoured via I-77 south to Pleasant Valley Rd. where they can re-enter I-77 northbound.
I-77 Widening over I-490, Cleveland (CCG6A)
On Saturday, October 21, Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) maintenance crews will
close the right lane of I-77 northbound between Grant and Harvard avenues and the exit ramp to Harvard Avenue from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
in order to perform tree and brush trimming operations. Motorists destined for Harvard Avenue will be detoured via I-77 north to Pershing Avenue to I-77 south to Harvard Avenue.
State Route 14 (Broadway Avenue) Bridge over I-77 and ramp to I-77 south, Cleveland (CCG6B)
Overnight Thursday, October 26 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. crews will close the right lane of I-77 north and southbound between I-490 and Pershing Ave. for traffic shifting operations.
I-90 Drainage Cleaning, Rocky River
Daily crews will close the left shoulder of I-90 eastbound between Detroit and Hilliard roads from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for drainage repairs.
I-271 Widening, Bedford, Bedford Heights, Warrensville Heights and Oakwood
On Friday, October 20, a temporary traffic pattern change will take place within the I-271 widening work zone.
At 8 p.m. the right lane of I-271 northbound will be closed from Columbus Rd. to I-480 and the Rockside Rd. entrance ramp to I-271 northbound will close
. Rockside Rd. motorists will be detoured via Northfield Rd. and Miles Rd. where they can enter I-480 eastbound to continue onto I-271 north. Beginning at 11 p.m. through 6 a.m., the
right lane of I-271 northbound will be diverted to I-480 westbound or Rockside Rd
. Signage will be in place on I-480 westbound to detour motorists wishing to head to I-271 northbound or U.S. 422. I-271 northbound traffic can use the far left “contraflow” lane avoid lane restrictions.
I-480 at SR 176 Ramp Repairs, Cleveland
Overnight Thursday, October 26
the I-480 east and westbound ramp to SR 176 north will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
for pavement repairs. Motorists will be encouraged to use I-77 northbound to I-490 westbound as an alternate route.
U.S. 6/State Route 2 (West Shoreway) Conversion, Lakefront West, Cleveland
All lanes are open on the Detroit Rd. (U.S. 6) bridge over the Rocky River following bridge maintenance work. Only minor operations remain with little to no impacts to traffic.
State Route 17 (Brookpark Road) Bridge repairs, Cleveland and Fairview Park
Valley Parkway under the Brookpark Rd. bridge will
close between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday through early November
as repairs continue on the structure above. Motorists will be detoured via Brookway Blvd., W. 220th St., Brookpark Rd., Mastick Rd. and Shepard Lane.
