Thursday, September 19, I-271 northbound between I-480 and Broadway Ave. will have a left lane closure for a traffic pattern shift between 7 p.m. and midnight. Thursday, September 19, Miles Rd. under I-271 will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. a detour will be posted, Friday, September 20, I-271 northbound between I-480 and Broadway Ave. will have a right lane closure for a traffic pattern shift between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday, September 21. Work will require various off-peak lane closures on I-271. Motorists have two lanes on I-271 south between Miles Rd. and the I-480 merge and three lanes between the I-480 merge and the Summit County line. This entire project includes full-depth pavement replacement, widening and bridge work on I-271 north and southbound between the Cuyahoga/Summit county line and Miles Road. Tentative completion date: June 2020.

Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. I-271 over Mayfield Rd. will have two lanes closed for bridge painting preparations. Through October, work will take place on I-271 over Mayfield Rd. Sunday through Saturday with minimal impacts to traffic. Work on I-271 over Marsol Rd. is complete. Overnight each night beginning Thursday, September 19 through October, the right two lanes will be closed on I-77 north and south at Harvard Ave. for bridge painting. Friday, September 27, at 8 p.m. through Monday, September 30, at 5 a.m. the following closures will be in place for bridge painting. I-77 northbound at I-480 the detour will be I-480 west to SR 176 north to I-490 east to I-77 north, I-77 south at I-490 the detour will be I-490 west to SR 176 south to I-480 east to I-77 south, I-480 east and west ramps to I-77 north the detour will SR 176 north to I-490 east to I-77 north, I-490 east to I-77 south the detour will be I-77 north to E. 30th St.to I-77 south to I-490 west to SR 176 south. Limited local access will be maintained within the I-77 closure. Through September, the Harvard Ave. bridge over I-77 will remain closed to replace the bridge. Eastbound Harvard Ave. motorists will be detoured via I-77 southbound to Grant Ave. to I-77 northbound to Harvard Ave. Westbound Harvard Ave. motorists will be detoured via I-77 northbound to Pershing Ave. to I-77 southbound to Harvard Ave. Various lane restrictions will take place on I-77 under Harvard Ave. The entire project replaces the Harvard Ave. bridge over I-77, including sidewalks, signal upgrades and more. Saturday, September 21, Scranton Rd. traffic between Clark and Fairfield Avenues will re-open. Monday, September 23, Scranton Rd. northbound between Clark Ave. and Sackett Ave. will be closed for resurfacing. The northbound detour is Metrohealth Dr. north to W. 25th St. east on Clark Ave. to Scranton Rd. Southbound traffic will be maintained. The entire project will resurface Scranton Rd. between Sackett and Fairfield Avenues. Tentative completion date: October 2019.
