ODOT Hosting Public Meeting on U.S. 20 and McMackin Road Intersection Improvement Plans
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Wednesday, August 8, 2012) – On Wednesday, August 22, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to the intersection of U.S. 20 (North Ridge Road) and McMackin Road in Lake County’s Madison Township.
The purpose of the project is to improve safety at the heavily traveled intersection. The proposed project would install a left-turn lane in each direction on U.S. 20 at the intersection of McMackin Road, improving the visibility of on-coming traffic.
ODOT would like to receive resident’s and motorists’ feedback on the proposed alternatives under consideration. Comments and feedback from this meeting will help ODOT make an informed decision as the project is implemented.
