Seeks Comments for Upcoming Bridge Project on U.S. 422 in Troy Township
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, January 3, 2019) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be holding a public meeting
regarding a project that will replace the driving surface and widen the U.S.
422 (Main Market Rd.) bridge over the Cuyahoga River in Troy Township, Geauga
project is currently scheduled to take place in 2022 and will replace the
substructure, deck – or driving surface – and widening the bridge to the north.
During the one-year construction project, one lane will be maintained in each
direction across the bridge.

meeting will be conducted as an open house, with staff from ODOT and the
project team on hand to answer questions about the purpose of the project and
the potential property and environmental impacts.
formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. after which the public will have an
opportunity to provide verbal and written comments, if desired.

March 6, 2019 and may be submitted
