GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, May 10, 2013) – In addition to permanent work zones, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:
Weekend Long Work:
· Overnight Friday, May 10, crews will close the two left lanes on I-490 eastbound between the West 11th Street pedestrian bridge and East 55th Street and the left lane on the I-71 northbound ramp to I-490 eastbound from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, May 13 in order to perform pavement repair operations. Crews will also restrict the West 7th Street to I-490 eastbound from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.
· On Friday, May 10, crews will close the left lane on U.S. 422 eastbound between Miles Road and Harper Road from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday, May 12 for pavement repair operations. Also on Friday, crews will close the left lane on U.S. 422 westbound between Harper Road and Miles Road from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, May 13.
The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects have updated work involving lane and/or ramp closures:
I-71 northbound exit ramp to West 150th Street, Cleveland
I-90 Resurfacing, Cleveland and Lakewood
I-490 Pavement Repairs, Cleveland
U.S. 422 Resurfacing, Solon, Warrensville Heights and Orange
*NEW*State Route 17 (Granger Road) Resurfacing, Garfield Heights and Valley View
State Route 252 (Columbia Road), Olmsted Township
Warrensville Center Road over I-480, Maple Heights & Warrensville Heights
