The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)
projects have work involving ramp
and/or lane closures tonight and the week of March 29:
UPDATED*I-90 Innerbelt, Construction of Two New George V. Voinovich Bridges, Cleveland
Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3, crews will
close one lane on the eastbound I-90 George V. Voinovich Bridge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
in order to perform preparations for upcoming bridge painting operations.
*UPDATED*I-480 east lane reconfiguration, Cleveland, Maple Hts. and Warrensville Hts.
Overnight Thursday, March 29, crews will
close the right lane on I-480 eastbound between Lee Rd. and Warrensville Center Rd. from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
in order to perform preliminary lane reconfiguration operations. Overnight Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3, crews will
close various lanes on I-480 eastbound between Lee Road and I-271 split from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
in order to perform preliminary lane reconfiguration operations. Overnight Wednesday, April 4, crews will
close the left lane on I-480 westbound between Warrensville Center Rd. and Lee Rd. from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
in order to set temporary portable concrete barriers. Overnight Thursday, April 5, crews will
close the left lane on I-480 eastbound between Lee Rd. and Warrensville Center Rd. from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
in order to set temporary portable concrete barriers.
*UPDATED*U.S. 6/State Route 2 (West Shoreway) Conversion, Lakefront West, Cleveland
Overnight Thursday, March 29, crews will
close the West 25
Street and West 3
Street/Lakeside Ave. to U.S.6/SR 2 westbound from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
in order to install overhead signs. West 25
Street and Lakeside Ave. motorists will be detoured via Detroit Ave. to West 49
Street to access U.S. 6/SR 2 west. West 3
Street motorists will be detoured via eastbound on SR 2 to East 9
Street and then re-enter SR 2 westbound.
East 55th Street Resurfacing, Cleveland
On Tuesday, April 2, crews will resume resurfacing operations on E. 55
St. between Central Ave. and Superior Ave. Traffic in this section will be maintained with two northbound lanes and one southbound lane through mid-June.
*NEW*Transportation Boulevard, Garfield Heights
On April 9, crews will begin work on Transportation Blvd. between Antenucci Blvd. and Granger Rd. Traffic will be maintained with two northbound lanes and one southbound lane on Transportation Blvd. over I-480 through September as crews work to widen the bridge to accommodate a new northbound left turn lane. Additional lane closures and restrictions will be necessary. Details will be forthcoming.
Also overnight Thursday, March 29, crews will
close various lanes on I-90 westbound between Lorain Ave. and West 98th Street from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
in order to install perform overhead sign removal and installation work. There will be two 10-minute complete closures of I-90 westbound in the area as crews remove and then replace the overnight sign structure.
