On Monday, August 31, crews will restrict East 105th Street to one lane in each direction between Cedar Avenue and Carnegie Avenue through Tuesday, September 8 in order to perform pavement work in the area.
On Tuesday, September 8, crews will close East 105th Street to southbound traffic between Carnegie Avenue and Cedar Avenue for a period of 75 days. Southbound motorists will be detoured via East 100th Street. To check out the detour map click here.
Reminder! East 105th Street remains closed in both directions between Cedar Avenue and Quebec Avenue until about mid-October 2015. Motorists are detoured via East 100th Street. Frank, Arthur, Hudson and Norman Avenues will not have direct access to East 105th Street during the closure. These streets have temporarily been made two-way streets to provide full access.
Also on Tuesday, September 8, crews will restrict Chester Avenue to one lane in each direction at East 105th Street for approximately two weeks for installation of an underground electrical vault. In addition, East 105th Street between Chester Avenue and Euclid Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction during off peak hours for the same operation.
