On Monday, April 13 at 7 a.m., crews will close East 105th Street to southbound traffic between Cedar Avenue and Quincy Avenue for approximately 75 days. Southbound motorists will be detoured via Cedar Avenue to East 100th Street to Quincy Avenue. East 105th Street will remain open to northbound traffic.
During this time crews will begin pavement removal, excavation and waterline work starting at Quincy Avenue and proceed north.
Flaggers maintaining traffic through mid-April: Crews will continue performing work to identify and locate underground utilities and excavate pavement in select locations on East 105th Street between Cedar Avenue and Quincy Avenue through mid-April. This work takes place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and flaggers will be utilized to maintain traffic in the area.
