*UPDATED* Quincy Avenue will remain closed between East 100th Street and East 105th Street through Sunday, May 21 while crews complete utility work. Motorists will be detoured via Quebec Avenue.
On Monday, May 22, crews will close Quincy Avenue between Woodhill Road and East 100th Street for approximately 45 days in order to construct the intersection of Quincy Avenue and the new boulevard. Motorists will be detoured via Quebec Avenue, East 100th Street, Quincy Avenue, East 93rd Street, Woodland Avenue and Woodhill Road.
Throughout the Quincy Avenue closure, pedestrian access will be maintained on the north side of Quincy Avenue and to the East 105th-Quincy GCRTA station.
All work is weather permitting.
In other news…
Crews on behalf of the Cleveland Clinic will be doing nightly complete closures of East 105th Street between Cedar and Carnegie avenues for pedestrian bridge construction. The closures are expected to take place through May 12 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. Motorists will be detoured via Carnegie Avenue, East 100th Street and Cedar Avenue.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
