Abandonment and relocation of State Route 8 in the
city of Shaker Heights and the village of Highland Hills
  
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) proposes the Abandonment of State Route Eight southeasterly along the centerline of existing Northfield Road from its intersection with Chagrin Boulevard and Warrensville Center Road, for a distance of 0.36 of a mile to a point in the existing centerline of Northfield Road, said point being 0.21 of a mile south of the Shaker Heights / Highland Hills Corporation Line, and there terminate, said Abandonment being 0.36 of a mile. 
 
ODOT also proposes the Relocation of State Route Eight southerly along the centerline of Warrensville Center Road from its intersection with Chagrin Boulevard and existing Northfield Road for a distance of 0.30 of a mile to a point, said point being the proposed intersection of Warrensville Center Road and relocated Northfield Road; thence easterly along the centerline of relocated Northfield Road for a distance of 0.16 of a mile to a point on the centerline of existing Northfield Road, said point being 0.21 of a mile south of the Shaker Heights / Highland Hills Corporation Line, and there terminate, said Relocation being 0.46 of a mile.
 
The above abandonment and relocation will be presented for public review and comment at the public meeting as described below:
