*Updated* (July 11, 2018) While original plans maintained daytime traffic on the Vega Ave. ramp to I-90 westbound, the scope of work now requires a ramp closure. Motorists can enter I-90 westbound via Barber Ave. or W. 41st St. as an alternate route. The ramp will be reopened each night.
CLEVELAND (June 28, 2018) - Beginning Monday, July 9, work will begin to install Cleveland Public
Power duct banks and cables along Wade and Vega Avenues at their intersection
with W. 25th St. (U.S. 42) and underneath I-90.
will close between W. 30th St. and the I-90 westbound entrance ramp,
and Wade Ave. will close between the I-90 eastbound entrance ramp and W. 30th
St. through August for cable installation.
construction, traffic on W. 25th St. will be shifted to the
northbound lanes. Daily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., flaggers will maintain one
lane of traffic in both directions. Overnight, the trench will be plated to
maintain one lane in each direction on W. 25th St.
the I-90 eastbound ramp to W. 25th St. will temporarily close for
one weekend, from Friday at 8 p.m. to Monday at 6 a.m., to complete work.
