Forecasted rain forces crews to cancel work for the upcoming weekend

GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Thursday, August 4, 2011) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Karvo Paving Company were forced to postpone the closure of Interstate 77 northbound between I-480 and I-490 in the cities of Cuyahoga Heights, Newburgh Heights and Cleveland this weekend due to forecasted rain. 

The final surface course of asphalt will be placed on the five mile stretch of I-77 northbound during a future weekend closure, which will be announced once work is rescheduled.
