Innerbelt Update

ODOT will soon begin a project to make improvements to the Lorain-Carnegie (Hope Memorial) Bridge.  To learn more about that project, please visit www.BuckeyeTraffic.org/HopeMemorialBridge.   In coordination with that project, the Innerbelt project team will soon begin waterline relocation work on the south side of Carnegie Avenue just east of the Western Reserve Fire Museum & Education Center.

This Just In!  Beginning overnight Tuesday night, May 22, crews will adjust the workzone on Carnegie which will allow the traffic lanes in front of Progressive Field and Tri-C to match what will soon be in place on Lorain-Carnegie as well as begin the waterline work.  Motorists are advised to watch for changing traffic patterns and follow all posted signage.  Minor work – including concrete median removal – will continue on Ontario, but will not affect rush hour traffic or special events.  Additional changes at the intersection are expected.  Details will be forthcoming.

We appreciate your patience as we continue work on this very important project.  If you have questions about this upcoming work, ask us on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Innerbelt or e-mail us at Info@Innerbelt.org.  We’re happy to help!
Please exercise caution in work zones.  For statewide construction information visit: BuckeyeTraffic.org.
Motorists are encouraged to Ride RTA or carpool through OhioRideshare during these restrictions.
