Traffic Changes Coming to Waterloo Road Resurfacing Project
On Monday, Waterloo Road will be one-way eastbound only
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, April 18, 2014) – On Monday, April 18, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will reopen Waterloo Road to westbound traffic and close it to eastbound traffic between East 152nd Street and East 162nd Street as resurfacing operations continue.
Eastbound Waterloo Road motorists will be detoured via East 152nd Street, Lucknow Avenue, East 156th Street, Trafalgar Avenue and East 163rd Street back to Waterloo Road.
This project also includes resurfacing work on East 156th Street between Calcutta Avenue and Trafalgar Avenue. On Monday, East 156th Street will only be open to southbound traffic. All northbound motorists will be detoured via Calcutta Avenue, Waterloo Road, East 152nd Street and Lucknow Avenue back to East 156th Street.
The entire project reconstructs the pavement, improves drainage, street lightings and traffic signals on Waterloo Road between East 152nd Street and East 162nd Street and on East 156th Street between Calcutta Avenue and Trafalgar Avenue.
