U.S. 20 to close due to railroad work

Painesville Township, Lake County

 

September 4, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 8, Norfolk Southern will close U.S. 20 between Palmer Avenue and Fern Drive to all traffic in order to perform work on the railroad crossing at this location.

 

The roadway is expected to reopen on or around Saturday, September 13.

 

Eastbound motorists may detour via SR 615 (Center Street) northbound to SR 2 east to SR 283 (Richmond Street) southbound.  The westbound detour is reversed. 

 

Local traffic may detour via Palmer Avenue north to W. Jackson Street east to Fern Drive south.  The westbound detour is reversed.
