U.S. 20 (Mentor Ave.) signal operation to begin

Painesville Township

April 4, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH… On Monday, April 7, the signals at the intersection of Fairfield Road and Mentor Avenue will begin stop and go operations.  Please use caution and watch for stopped traffic as these new signals become operational.

 

On or around Monday, April 7 crews will resume work between Clairmont Drive and Fern Drive.  One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on the south side of U.S. 20 between Urban St. and Fern Dr.  One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on the north side of U.S. 20 between Clairmont and Urban St. 

 

The permanent entrance to the Painesville Shopping Center will be completed in its entirety in the spring of 2008. 

 

The entire project widens U.S. 20 from three to five lanes between Wellesley Blvd. and Fern Drive and is expected to be complete in July 2008.
