Water Main Work to Close SR 87/Buckeye Rd at Woodhill Rd
Closure will be from Friday, March 14 through Monday, March 17
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Monday, March 10, 2014) – Crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), will close SR 87/Buckeye Road at Woodhill Road from 7 p.m. Friday, March 14 through 6 a.m. Monday, March 17 for water main replacement work.
All through-traffic will be detoured via East 116th Street/Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Woodland Avenue.
Upon completion, the traffic pattern will return to the existing condition of the left lane on Woodhill Road southbound and the right lane on Woodhill Road northbound are closed between Holton Avenue and Wamelink Avenue until early May for bridge replacement operations. No left turns will be permitted on to Buckeye Road. Northbound Woodhill Road motorists will be detoured via Steinway Road. Southbound Woodhill Road motorists will be detoured via Rosehill Avenue and East 103rd Street.
Also, Shaker Boulevard east and westbound remains closed between East 103rd Street and Woodhill Road until early-May for bridge replacement operations. Access will be maintained to the East End Neighborhood House and Morning Star Baptist Church. Motorists will be detoured via Buckeye Road and East 103rd Street.
