Bridge deck pour on I-77 southbound and bridge maintenance on I-480 eastbound
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Wednesday, April 23, 2014) – On Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, crews working on the I-77 bridge deck replacement project will complete the first – of many – bridge deck pours. In order to complete this work safely, crews will close the I-77 southbound exit ramp to I-480 eastbound and the right lane of I-77 southbound between Grant Avenue and I-480 beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until noon on Saturday.
Motorists leaving downtown Cleveland on I-77 southbound destined for I-480 eastbound will be detoured via I-490 westbound to SR 176 southbound to I-480 eastbound. Other motorists will be detoured via Rockside Road to I-77 northbound to I-480 eastbound.
On a separate project, bridge maintenance will close the right two lanes on the I-480 eastbound Valley View Bridge from 7 p.m. Friday, April 25 through 6 a.m. Monday, April 28.
