Weekend Work beginning September 9, 2011
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Friday, September 9, 2011) – In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga and Lake Counties:
Friday, September 9:
Interstate 90, Cuyahoga County
Overnight Friday, September 9, crews will close the I-90 westbound entrance and exit ramps at MLK from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. – weather permitting – in order to perform paving operations. Motorists will be detoured via East 55th Street.
Saturday, September 10:
Interstate 90, Cuyahoga County
On Saturday, September 10, crews will close the I-90 westbound entrance and exit ramps at MLK from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. – weather permitting – in order to perform paving operations. Motorists will be detoured via East 55th Street.
Sunday, September 11:
Interstate 480, Cuyahoga County
On Sunday, September 11, crews will perform intermittent 10 minute complete closures of I-480 east and westbound at Tiedeman Road from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in order to reinstall a power line that came down during a recent wind storm. A complete stoppage of traffic, utilizing local police, will last no more than 10 minutes in any one consecutive 30 minute period.
Interstate 90, Lake County
On Sunday, September 11, crews will close I-90 east and westbound at SR 86 for approximately 10 minutes starting at 9 a.m. in order to reinstall a power line.
Interstate 90, Cuyahoga County
Overnight Sunday, September 11, crews will close various lanes on I-90 westbound at Warren Road from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform bridge spalling operations.
