Overnight Friday, May 8
Overnight Friday, May 8 as part of a separate project, crews will close the ramp from I-90 west to I-77 south from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday in order to repair barrier wall in the vicinity. Motorists will be detoured to I-71 south to SR 176 south to I-480 east to I-77. Event traffic leaving Downtown will not be impacted by this closure. For those motorists who want to access areas north of I-480 (including Newburgh Heights, Cuyahoga Heights and Slavic Village) motorists are reminded that the ramp from I-480 east to I-77 north is closed. Motorists should follow the posted detour and use I-77 south to Rockside Road where they may reenter I-77 in the northbound direction with access to communities north of I-480.
Also overnight Friday, May 8, crews will close the right lane of I-77 northbound between I-480 and Brecksville Road (SR 21) from midnight to noon on Saturday, May 9 in order to perform deck pour operations.
Weekdays through May 15, crews will close the right lane of I-77 northbound between I-480 and Brecksville Road (SR 21) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All I-77 northbound motorists will need to use the contraflow lane. The ramp from I-480 westbound to I-77 northbound will be maintained.
