Southbound exit ramps to close; detour information provided
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Wednesday, June 22, 2016) – At 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close the exit ramp from I-77 southbound to State Route 82 east in Broadview Heights. The ramp will remain closed until 6 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016 as crews continue to improve the I-77 and State Route 82 interchange.
The exit ramp from I-77 southbound to State Route 82 west will also be closed for a short period of time during the weekend.
As a detour for either closure, motorists can exit at Miller Road, enter onto I-77 northbound, and exit to State Route 82 east and west.
The ramp closures are part of a larger project already underway to resurface State Route 82 between Ken Mar Industrial Parkway and South Hills Boulevard and to improve the I-77 and State Route 82 interchange in Broadview Heights. All work is slated to be complete in October 2016.
