Weekend Work beginning April 30, 2010
Garfield Heights (Friday, April 30, 2010) – In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga and Lake Counties:
Weekend Long Work:
I-271 Resurfacing, Warrensville Heights, Pepper Pike, Beachwood, Mayfield Heights, Orange & Woodmere… Beginning Friday, April 30 the I-271 northbound Express Lanes will be closed between Emery Road and U.S. 322 (Mayfield Road) beginning at 9 p.m. and will remain closed through 6 a.m. Monday, May 3 for milling operations. Northbound traffic will be detoured onto the local lanes. The I-271 southbound Express Lanes and all Local Lanes will remain open.
I-71 Bridge Painting, Cleveland and Village of Linndale
Crews will close two lanes of I-71 southbound between West 130th Street and West 117th Street from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 1 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 3 as crews work to paint the West 130th Street, Bellaire Road, Memphis Avenue and Norfolk Southern bridges along I-71.
