Garfield Heights (Friday, August 6, 2010) – In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:

Overnight Friday, August 6:
I-77 Add Lane Project, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence
Overnight Friday, August 6, crews will close the Wallings Road entrance ramp to I-77 southbound from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. in order to perform pavement operations.  Motorists will be detoured via adjacent ramps. 

Saturday, August 7:
I-271 Express Lanes Resurfacing, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield and Willoughby Hills
On Saturday, August 7 – weather permitting – crews will close the I-271 northbound Express Lanes between Brainard Road and SR 91 until approximately August 30 as crews work to resurface the Express Lanes.  The I-271 southbound Express Lanes between I-90 and Highland Road are closed until approximately August 10 as crews work to resurface the Express Lanes.

Overnight Sunday, August 8:
I-77 Add Lane Project, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence
Overnight Sunday, August 8, crews will close the Wallings Road entrance ramp to I-77 northbound and close the I-77 southbound exit ramp to SR 82 westbound from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. in order to perform pavement operations.  The I-77 southbound exit ramp to State Route 82 eastbound remains closed until mid-September.  Motorists will be detoured via adjacent ramps. 

I-90 Eastbound Ramp over I-271 Deck Replacement, Willoughby Hills
Overnight Sunday, August 8, crews will close I-90 eastbound over I-271 from 6 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Monday, August 9, as crews pour the concrete bridge deck.  Motorists will be detoured via Mayfield Road. 

Weekend Long Work:
I-71 Bridge Painting, Cleveland and Village of Linndale
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 6 and continuing through Monday, August 9 at 6 a.m. crews will close multiple lanes on I-71 north and southbound between West 130^th Street and the Norfolk Southern Railroad in order to perform bridge painting operations.  

State Route 84 Closure, Old Fashioned Days, Village of Madison
Through 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 8 State Route 84 (Main Street) between River Street and North Lake Street is closed for Old Fashioned Days festivities.  For more information, please contact the Madison Village Police Department at 440.428.3421.
