Weekend Work for August 9 & 10
August 8, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH… In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following construction work is scheduled to take place over the coming days in Cuyahoga and Lake counties:
Saturday, August 9:
I-71 at Denison Ave., Bridge Work, Brooklyn, Cleveland
On Saturday, August 9 crews will close multiple lanes of I-71 northbound at Denison Ave. from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in order to perform work on the Denison Ave. bridge over I-71.
Sunday, August 10:
*NEW* U.S. 20 (Mentor Ave.) Resurfacing, Mentor
Beginning at approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 10 crews will begin a project to resurface U.S. 20 (Mentor Ave.) between the western Mentor corporation line and Hopkins Rd. in the city of Mentor. Crews will work nightly, Sunday through Thursday between approximately 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each morning. Work will begin between Hopkins Road and State Route 615. Traffic will be maintained with one lane in each direction during working hours. The entire project is expected to be complete by August 31, 2009.
