Weekend Work for July 11 through July 13
July 11, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH… In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following construction work is scheduled to take place over the coming days in Cuyahoga and Geauga counties:
Newburg & South Shore Rail Bridges over I-77, Painting, Cuyahoga Heights Village
Beginning overnight Friday, June 11 crews will close multiple lanes of I-77 north and southbound between Grant and Harvard in order to perform work on several overhead bridges in the vicinity. North and southbound lanes will close periodically throughout the weekend however closures are not expected to impact Indians game-day traffic.
Friday, July 11:
I-77 Add Lane Project, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence
Overnight Friday, July 11 crews will close the left lane of I-77 northbound between Wallings and Rockside Roads from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. as well as close multiple lanes of Rockside Road beneath I-77 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform work in the vicinity.
Multiple Ramp Restrictions for Bridge Work, Cleveland
Overnight Friday, July 11 crews will close one lane of the ramp from I-490 westbound to I-71 southbound from approximately 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Crews will also close one lane of the I-71 northbound bridge over I-90/I-490 between approximately 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will also be shifted as crews work on the I-90 eastbound ramp to I-71 northbound. All lanes will remain open. Closures are necessary as crews perform work on several overhead bridges in the vicinity.
Saturday, July 12:
U.S. 322 House Move, Huntsburg, Geauga County
Beginning at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, Stein House Movers will move a one story wood frame house from 16401 U.S. 322 (3/10 miles west of SR 528) to the northwest corner of U.S. 322 and Hunt Road (1 mile east of SR 528). The move is expected to take between 10 and 15 minutes and will completely close U.S. 322 during that time. Police will assist.
