Weekend Work for July 18 through July 20

July 18, 2008, Garfield Heights, OH In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following construction work is scheduled to take place over the coming days in Cuyahoga county:

Weekend-long Closure(s)
*UPDATED*I-480 Rehabilitation and I-77/I-480 Ramp Rehabilitation, Independence
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 18 crews will close the SR 176/Granger Road ramp to I-480 eastbound as well as the right lane of I-480 eastbound between Tuxedo Ave. and the Valley View Bridge.  Multiple lanes of I-480 eastbound will close overnight each night this weekend, allowing for only one, through-lane of traffic.  Closures are necessary as crews work to replace pavement cross-over areas.  All lanes and ramp are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Monday, July 21 however, should weather prohibit pavement operations closures could be extended.  Crews will shift traffic to the south side of I-480 on or around Friday, July 25.  Details will be forthcoming. 

Friday, July 18:
Newburg & South Shore Rail Bridges over I-77, Painting, Cuyahoga Heights Village
Overnight Friday, July 18 crews will close multiple lanes of I-77 north and southbound between Harvard and Grant from approximately 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. in order to perform work on several overhead bridges in the vicinity.

Saturday, July 19:
SR 252 Signal Installation, Olmsted Falls
On Saturday, July 19 crews will work to pave the intersections of Columbia and Cook Roads from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Traffic will be maintained, however delays are possible.
