Weekend Work for March 27 through 29, 2009

March 27, 2009, Garfield Heights, OH In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:

Friday, March 27:
I-77 Add Lane Project, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence
The Rockside Rd. eastbound ramp to I-77 northbound remains restricted to one, narrow lane.  Northbound traffic is currently shifted to the outside as crews build new pavement including the widened portion of I-77.  Overnight Friday, March 27, crews will shift traffic on the north end of I-77 southbound from Wallings Road to Rockside Road.  Both daily and nightly lane closures are expected as the project progresses, however lane closures are not expected to impact rush hours.  During mid-summer crews will shift traffic to the inside as they work to rebuild the outside lanes.  The entire project adds a lane on I-77 between Oakes Rd. and Rockside Rd.  Tentative completion date: October 2011.

Sunday, March 29:
Interstate 480 just west of Grayton Road, Cuyahoga County
On Sunday, March 29 crews on behalf of Time Warner Cable will close I-480 just west of Grayton Road intermittently for periods of no more than 10 minutes each in any one consecutive 30 minute period.  All work will take place between sun-up and 10 a.m.  Intermittent closures are necessary as crews work to pull cable across the roadway.

All dates and times are approximate and weather dependent.
