Weekend Work for May 29 through 31, 2009

May 29, 2009, Garfield Heights, OH In addition to permanent work zones and daily work plan, the following work is scheduled to take place over the weekend in Cuyahoga County:

Friday, May 29:
I-480 Rehabilitation and I-77/I-480 Ramp Rehabilitation and Slope Repair, Independence
Overnight Friday, May 29 into the morning of Saturday, May 30, crews will close the right two lanes of I-480 westbound at the Valley View Bridge from 10 p.m. to noon in order to perform asphalt repairs in the vicinity. 

Saturday, May 30:
I-480 Tower Lighting Replacement, Cleveland
On Saturday, May 30 crews will close the left lanes of I-480 east and westbound at W. 130th Street from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to replace tower lighting in the vicinity.

Sunday, May 31:
I-271 Express Lanes, Warrensville Heights, Mayfield, Pepper Pike, Beachwood, Willoughby HillsOvernight Sunday, May 31 crews will close the I-271 Express Lanes entirely from approximately 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform pavement repair and paving operations.  Access will be maintained via the I-271 Local Lanes. 

Multiple locations over I-480, Approach Pavement Reconstruction & Bridge Repair, Cleveland Beginning overnight Sunday, May 31, and continuing through approximately late June/early July, crews will close the I-480 eastbound exit ramp to State Road in order to reconstruct a portion of the pavement.  Detours will be posted.  Crews will also close multiple lanes of State Road southbound.  One through lane and a turn lane to I-480 eastbound will be maintained.  Lane shifts and closures are also expected on State Road northbound, however impacts to traffic will be minimal.
