Westlake: Sperry Creek Bridge Replacement on Detroit Road
One lane of two-way traffic to begin on Monday, April 29
GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Tuesday, April 23, 2013) – Beginning Monday, April 29, crews on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will restrict traffic on Detroit Road (SR 254) over the Sperry Creek Bridge, just west of Clague Road, for bridge replacement operations.
One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained over the bridge until the project’s completion in October 2013. ODOT and the city of Westlake will be working together to adjust the timing of the traffic lights in the area to achieve the most efficient flow of traffic. However, motorists should allow extra travel time when traveling in this area.
Pedestrian access will be maintained across the bridge on the opposite side of where the work is taking place.
