Myron S. Pakush, District Deputy Director
All Department of Transportation activities within the three county region of District 12 fall under the guidance of the District Deputy Director. The Deputy Director assists in strategic planning, short and long term goal setting, performance measurement and policy development and deployment on both the statewide and districtwide level. The Deputy Director also represents and communicates the activities, views and policies of the department with representatives of local, state and federal agencies, elected officials of local, state and federal governments, consultants, contractors, vendors, the news media and the general public.

The Labor Relations Officer is responsible for assuring that proper processes and procedures are in place throughout the district to allow supervisory personnel to manage human resources to the extent possible or necessary within guidelines of the Contract between the State of Ohio and the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association/AFSCME Local 11 AFL-CIO.
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Coordinator Initiates and coordinates outreach efforts including promoting certification and prequalification of DBE firms within District 12. Meets with certified, newly certified and prospective DBE firms to promote available services (e.g. technical training, tuition reimbursement programs, formal education courses) and discuss eligibility for prequalification to bid on highway construction and local public agency projects.
The Public Information Officer is responsible for assuring that the department's external communications with members of the news media and general public are accurate and timely regarding stories or issues of interest to the general public.
