The ODOT Library plays a vital role in providing timely transportation information to Departmental staff, our business partners, students in transportation-related fields, and the general public. In addition to current resources, the Library is a repository for historical ODOT reports, and maintains an impressive collection of retrospective research on the history of roads, highways, and structures in Ohio.
The ODOT Library collection is available through the State Library of Ohio catalog. Through the State Library's online catalog, you can search for and request books and other library materials. The online catalog is available 24/7 through any Internet accessible computer. You can place requests, check on the status of your requests, and renew your items from your home, school or workplace.
A state library card is available to all Ohio residents. Click on the link 'Get a library card' in the left-hand column for additional information and the registration process.
