The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has updated Ohio’s long-range transportation plan, Access Ohio 2040.  The purpose of the plan is to guide, inform, and support ODOT’s policies and investment strategies for the coming years.  The plan includes a comprehensive inventory of transportation services and infrastructure in Ohio, forecasts of future transportation demand, conditions and performance through the year 2040, and analysis of the trends affecting transportation.

The Office of Transit is conducting regional stakeholder meetings to help shape a long-term strategy for the needs of Ohio's riders today and in the future. Final Report

Access Ohio 2040 is a vision for Ohio’s future transportation system and includes the steps to accomplish that vision in the years ahead. The draft plan includes 11 recommendations that will guide ODOT and its partner agencies towards common objectives. The recommendations result from technical analyses combined with input from public sector partners and communities throughout Ohio.
