Jeremiah Upp has served as Fairfield County Engineer since 2012. Jeremiah is responsible for design and construction the counties roadway and bridge program. Jeremiah’s responsibilities also maintaining the counties’ 377 miles of roadway, 345 bridges, and several thousand culverts. Jeremiah is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer and registered Professional Surveyor. Jeremiah serves on the County Engineers of Ohio board of directors, Ohio Universities ORITE advisory board, Ohio Public Work district 17 Executive Committee as well as many other committees and groups dedicated to public service. Prior to his current position Jeremiah was a consultant working in Roadway design and hydraulics.
