James Young, P.E.
James Young is a 1994 graduate from the University of Cincinnati with B.S. in Civil Engineering. He worked for a private company for 7 years as a project engineer and project manager on various site and roadway projects. His past work experience includes roadway design, traffic engineering, and Army Corps projects. James worked at ODOT Central Office for 13 years. He worked in the offices of Traffic Engineering, Roadway Engineering and was Deputy Director of the Division of Engineering from 2011 to 2014.
James now works at City of Columbus for the Department of Public Service. He was the Division Administrator of Infrastructure Management and responsible for Street Maintenance, Long Range Planning, R/W Permits, and the Centerline and Certified Address Sections. He just recently changed roles to become the City Engineer/Administrator of Design and Construction.
