About the Conference

The TEA/TUG conferences featured user presentations, technical sessions, vendor demonstrations, task force reports, and special activities. The TEA specifically focused on the knowledge sharing of new and old cost estimating techniques, issues that affect project costs, and overall practices that will help ensure that each agency is getting the best value for every dollar spent on its transportation contracts. The TUG provided a forum to exchange ideas and strategies on how to guide the development of the AASHTO Trns•port suite of products, define support and training needs and work integrally with the Product Management Task Force in prioritizing the commitment of resources generated through licensing fees.
