    ITS Ohio Hosts 7th Annual Meeting

    Columbus The Intelligent Transportation Society of Ohio (ITS Ohio) will be hosting their 7th Annual Meeting September 7-8, 2000 at The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Central Office. ODOT is one of the founding members of this organization. 

    ITS Ohio serves to coordinate and foster a public, private and academic partnership to make the urban and rural surface transportation system in the state of Ohio significantly safer, more productive and efficient, by defining the requirements and accelerating the identification, communication, research, development, integration and deployment of ITS technologies.

    The meeting is open to anyone interested in intelligent transportation issues. Registration fees per individual are as follows:

    General Public, Pre-Registered (prior to September 1, 2000) $45.00
    General Public, On-Site $55.00
    Government/Public Sector Employees $25.00
    Student (Pre-registered) $25.00
