Route 8, Summit County
Reconstruction of SR 8, from south of Twinsburg Rd.
to north of the I-271 interchange. A minimum of two
lanes of traffic will be maintained in each
direction at all times on SR 8. The project includes
the construction of five new bridges and the
separation of SR 8 from Twinsburg Rd. SR 8 under
I-271 has various lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 2
p.m. daily. Northbound SR 8 over Brandywine Creek
has various lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
daily. Completion date: July 2010.

Route 18, Medina County
Two
separate sections of SR 18, between Windfall Rd. and
Beach Rd., and between Bambeck Rd. and the
Medina/Summit County line, are reduced to one lane
of traffic in each direction as part of a widening
and reconstruction project. Completion date: June
2008.

Route 20, Lake County
Widening and reconstruction project on U.S. 20 from
the Mentor corporation line to Fern Dr. One lane of
traffic in each direction is maintained on U.S. 20
at all times. Nye Rd. is restricted to one-way
traffic in the southbound direction only. Detours
are posted. Completion date: August 2008.

Route 20, Lake County
Resurfacing project on U.S. 20 between the Chagrin
River and western Mentor corporation line. Traffic
is maintained with one lane in each direction.
Pelton Rd. between Mentor Ave. and Kirtland Rd. is
closed permanently. Detour is posted. Completion
date: August 2007.

Route 30, Stark County
U.S.
30 over the Tuscarawas River is reduced to one lane
in each direction until fall 2007 for bridge
reconstruction. The bridge is part of a larger
project for the resurfacing and signing of the
roadway from the Massillon west corporation limit to
the Canton west corporation limit. Completion date
(for the entire project): June 30, 2008.
Interstate 71, Medina County
Major
reconstruction and widening of I-71, from
one-half mile north of Leroy Rd. to three-quarters
of a mile south of SR 3. Two lanes of traffic are
being maintained in each direction. Completion date:
July 2010.
Interstate 71, Medina County
Major
reconstruction and widening of I-71 from SR 18 to
I-76. Two lanes of traffic are being maintained in
each direction. Completion date: Sept. 30, 2007.
Interstate 71, Medina County
Major
reconstruction and widening of I-71 from one mile
south of U.S. 224/I-76 to the Wayne County line. Two
lanes of traffic are being maintained in each
direction. Completion date: June 10, 2007.
Interstate 71, Richland County
Major
reconstruction and widening of I-71, from
three-quarters-of-a-mile south of the SR 97
interchange to the Morrow County line. Two lanes of
traffic are being maintained in each direction.
Completion date: May 31, 2007.
Interstate 76, Medina County
Major
reconstruction and modifications to the I-76 and
I-71 interchange. Two lanes of traffic are being
maintained in each direction. Completion date: July
2010.
Interstate 77, Cuyahoga County
Replacement of the deck of the I-77 bridge over
I-480. Crews will work to rebuild shoulders in the
immediate area. Two lanes of traffic will be
maintained in each direction. Motorists should use
caution as the work causes lane shifts and shoulder
closures. Completion date: October 2008.
Interstate 77/Shuffel Road, Stark County
Shuffel Rd. over I-77 is closed for the construction
of a new interchange with I-77 in Jackson Township.
A detour is posted. Two lanes of traffic will be
maintained in each direction on I-77. Completion
date: Oct. 30, 2007.
Interstate 77, Stark County
Widening and reconstruction on I-77 from W.
Tuscarawas St. (SR 172) to 13th St. Two lanes of
traffic are maintained in each direction on I-77.

Interstate 77, Summit County
The
White Pond entrance ramp to northbound I-77 in the
city of Akron is closed until mid-July, as part of a
project to widen and reconstruct I-77 from SR 162
(Copley Rd.) to SR 21. Included in the project is
the reconstruction of the Ridgewood Rd. and
Brunsdorph Rd. bridges, and the off-ramp from I-77
northbound to SR 21 south. Detours are posted.
Completion date: September 2008.

Route 83, Medina County
SR 83,
just north of Seville Rd. (TR 46) in Harrisville
Township, is closed for a bridge replacement
project. Detour is posted. Completion date: May 14,
2007.

Route 84, Lake County
SR 84,
in Willoughby Hills and Wickliffe, is reduced to one
lane in each direction for widening. Johnson Dr. is
closed at Bishop Rd. through the beginning of May
2007. Detour is posted. Completion date: July 2008.

Route 86, Lake County
SR 86
remains closed eastbound between Fay Rd. and SR 84
due to a slope failure. Crews have opened one lane
of SR 86 in the westbound direction only. Detour is
posted. Completion date: September 2007.
Interstate 90, Lake County
Rehabilitation of I-90 between SR 306 and Morely
Rd. An additional lane is being added to the roadway
between SR 306 and SR 615. Lane widths are reduced
and motorists should watch for traffic shifts.
Completion date: June 2008.
Interstate 271, Summit County
I-271
over the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is reduced to
one lane in each direction from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
daily for bridge reconstruction. Completion: October
2009.
U.S.
Route 422, Mahoning County
The
Covington St. bridge over U.S. 422 in the city of
Youngstown is closed for utility work. The Belmont
Ave. bridge over U.S. 422 is reduced to one lane in
each direction. Detours are posted at both
locations. Completion date: Sept. 30, 2007.
Interstate 480, Cuyahoga County
Rehabilitation of I-480 from Tuxedo Ave. to the
Valley View Bridge. Traffic is maintained in reduced
width lanes. Please use caution as minor work takes
place of the roadway. All ramps are currently open.
Completion date: November 2008.

Route 611, Lorain County
SR
611, between E. 21st St. and Colorado Ave. in the
city of Lorain, has intermittent single lane
closures for a bridge repair project. One lane of
traffic in each direction will be maintained at all
times. Completion date: Aug. 31, 2007.
Interstate 680, Mahoning County
Various lane restrictions in both directions on the
Wellington Ave. Bridge over I-680 in the city of
Youngstown in preparation for demolition work as
part of a reconstruction and bridge painting
project. Completion date: July 31, 2007.
