Regularly Scheduled TRAC Meeting Rescheduled
COLUMBUS – The Ohio Transportation Review Advisory Council’s (TRAC) regularly scheduled meeting for Thursday, August 13, has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 27, 10:00 am, at the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Central Office in Columbus.
ODOT Director Jolene M. Molitoris, who serves as chair of the council, will lead a discussion on the applications received for major new construction projects which have requested TRAC approval for future funding.
This will be a voting session. Among the actions expected to be taken by the TRAC are votes on funding adjustments to continue project development and preliminary engineering on the Cleveland Opportunity Corridor, a proposed roadway link between Interstate 490 and University Circle; the Eastern Corridor, a multi-modal effort to improve rail, bus and highway capacity in Hamilton and Clermont Counties; the Columbus Interstate 70/71 South Innerbelt Project, aimed at modernizing the interstate split in downtown Columbus; and the Ohio Hub, the state’s long-range high-speed passenger rail plan.
