 Construction Underway Downtown

ODOT is fixing the biggest safety and congestion problems along the Interstate 70/71 downtown corridor. ODOT has already invested $350 million into the interchange improvements, and another four projects worth more than $500 million will be constructed in the next six years.

Latest Impacts to Traffic

New ramp from I-70 east to Parsons Ave. opened Friday, December 20.
This new exit replaced the old 18th St. ramp, which closed permanently as a result. 

Ramp from Third St. to I-70 east closed permanently November 25, 2019.

Access to Nationwide Children's Hospital During Construction

A new exit from I-70 east to Parsons Ave. ​opened Friday, December 20, 2019. Shortly after the new ramp opened, the exit from I-70 east to 18th St. closed permanently. 

Drivers that need to access the hospital should stay to the right and follow the signs for Parsons Ave. Keep in mind, motorists will need to exit much sooner than before.
