Reconstructing and modernizing the I-70/71 corridor in Columbus creates:

  • A safer highway for motorists and movers of goods and services
  • Better connections with city neighborhoods and Downtown Columbus
  • Gateways and enhanced bridges, many of which are cap capable for future development
  • Urban avenues with better access for all users of all ages – including pedestrians, bicyclists and transit customers

Rebuilding the I-70/71 corridor gives the Columbus region the safe, modern highway infrastructure it needs to compete as a leading logistics center, employing thousands of people and delivering goods all over the world.
